Beginings
This blog is for people to discover music from artist that do not have the benefit of large record companies to advertise them out. This blog is here to showcase music from independent artists and give them attention that they deserve. It is for music lovers to come together to talk and to share their favorite music regardless of the genre. This blog also hopes that the music shown here will inspire people to go out and find and support independent artists. Most of all it is about spreading the great feeling of finding a new favorite band that you would never have heard of otherwise.

Very nice introduction - I can feel your passion for this subject and am looking forward to expanding my horizons in this area. How do you fix into this mix? Are you a producer or a performer?

ReplyDeleteThere is so much music out there that mainstream does not play. Living in Europe during my formative years, gave me a greater appreciation for all music, not just what was played on the popular or rock stations. Love the fact that your work is our built in study break. :D
ReplyDeleteI love music and I really found a lot of new music when I started listening to satellite radio. I guess the combination of flipping around and the display info helped me discover and remember new bands.
ReplyDeleteAs for where I come into the music scene is that I am just the kind of person who can not function without music playing.When I wake up there is music, when I work, when I relax, when I exercise, and even when I go to sleep music is there.Having been like this for years I have come across so much music and I think it is well past time that I should share it.
